Workspace Design Show Amsterdam

5 – 6 November 2025 | Hall 5 RAI Amsterdam

Amsterdam’s Workspace Design Show Unveils Sensory-Driven Feature Spaces Across Every Corner of Hall 5 (5–6 November 2025)

Where Europe’s Most Creative Firms Transform Workplace Dialogue into Physical Experience.

This November, Workspace Design Show (Wednesday 5th to Thursday 6th November 2025, RAI Amsterdam) doesn’t just ask what the workplace should be; it lets you feel the answer. Across Hall 5, five of the Netherlands’ most creative design studios have turned conversation into atmosphere, theory into tactility, and workplace talk into spaces you can smell, hear, shift and claim as your own.

Behind each space lies a personal story, from quiet rituals to unexpected sparks of inspiration.

Design Talks Space, designed by UNS sponsored by Big Brands

This space was born out of fragments: post-its, rough sketches, reclaimed materials and a lot of laughter. During brainstorming, someone joked that the space should “hear the audience,” which snowballed into a full-on ear study session where team members compared photos of their own ears. That moment, playful, yet deeply symbolic, inspired the acoustic layout. The lounge isn’t decorated, it’s assembled from past lives. Every piece has a history, stamped with a “design passport.”

The Design Talks Lounge is a dynamic space where experiences, stories, and connections unfold. Colour guides, textures engage, and shifting light gently inspires fresh perspectives. Transforming with every gathering, the lounge is a sustainable meeting ground where repurposed elements dissolve boundaries, inviting people to connect, share, and reimagine what’s possible together. Designed by UNS. Sponsored by Big Brands. Suppliers include Bolon, Flokk, Molo, Pla-sis and Array Lighting.

Occupiers Forum Space, designed by Casper Schwarz Architects sponsored by FacilityLinq

The design is inspired from “speakers,” both as voices and objects. Floating forms and color gradients as echo sound waves, guiding focus to the stage. Transparent boundaries create an immersive world, amplifying the experience of engaging speakers and drawing the audience into their stories, highlighting connection, creativity, and collective inspiration. Designed by Casper Schwarz Architects. Partners include FacilityLinq Suppliers are Cecoceco, Momo rugs, Kvadrat, Andreu World, Vitra and Teamwork Interiors.

Radiance, Visitor Lounge designed by M Moser Associates

Before the space became a concept, it began as a sensation: sunrise to sunset. Rather than starting with furniture, the designers built an emotional gradient from soft morning calm to evening glow. Their MIRO board overflowed with hues of daybreak, hand sketches by in-house illustrator Glen, and unexpected references from art zines and design journals. AI even played a supporting role via Midjourney to test rug palettes and signage moods, not to replace the designer’s eye, but to accelerate intuition.

As the exclusive destination for food and beverages within the Workspace Design Show, M Moser’s Radiance Lounge will be the social hub, animated in collaboration with trusted partners.

Evolving with the rhythm of the day, from focused mornings to energised afternoons and lively evenings, the lounge uses circadian lighting and sensory cues to mirror the natural arc of the day, helping you feel good and connect with others. Step into a space where shifting lighting, curated soundscapes and signature scents come together to activate your senses. Designed by M Moser Associates. Partners include Fest, Green stores, Studio henk, Inclass, Lykele, Mcart, Nora Nora, Signify, Kvadrat, Tarkett, Ege and Living Projects.

Workplace Experience Talks, designed by Mecanoo sponsored by Branding Office Furniture

Rather than drafting walls, the team mapped behaviour. They observed how colleagues naturally shift from solo work to quick exchanges to deep collaboration and decided to translate that into space. Wooden sticks represent structure. Woven textiles represent softness. Together they create ambiguous borders that invite movement. No AI was used, this was designed with observation and instinct.

Mecanoo’s pavilion for the Workspace Design Show explores the evolving nature of the modern working environment, collaborative, human-centered, and increasingly diverse. Designed with intentionally ambiguous borders, the pavilion invites interaction and curiosity. It blurs the lines between inside and outside, formal and informal, encouraging spontaneous engagement from every angle. Designed by Mecanoo. Sponsored by Branding Office Furniture. Suppliers include Texfel and Bert Plantagie.

Mood Board Contest Area designed by Biophilic Design Academy

The story began not in a studio, but in the woods. Founder Lianne sat against a tree, moss under her hands, sun across her face, and asked herself: what if a trade show stand could breathe like this moment? The first idea was movement; fluttering curtains, shifting air, not walls. Each sensory element was later tied to one of the 15 recognised patterns of biophilic design. Even the act of participation is tactile: visitors aren’t just looking, they’re making.

This will be a multi-sensory biophilic experience and here you get to feel what nature does to you. Explore design that nurtures well-being, connect with sustainable innovators, and join the contest: create your own biophilic moodboard for a chance to win great prizes. Let nature spark your creativity! Like a digital garden, the space engaged the senses, showcasing holistic, hospitality-focused workplace design and its potential benefits. Like many other features, this area ties in neatly with the Show’s overall theme of ‘Activate the Senses’ and how multi-sensory, immersive environments aid wellbeing, productivity and engagement in the workplace. Designed by Biophillic Design Academy. Partners include Duracryl, A+N, Cooloo, Nuna Walls, Koninklijke Ginkel Groep, Green Paints, Compost Board, Royal Vriesco, Sense to Connect, Van Hier, De Klerk, Planq and Studio Wae.
