Jan Heyvaert

Jan Heyvaert is the Chief Human Resources and Sustainability Officer of AG Insurance. With over 3 million customers and 4,200 employees, AG is the largest insurer in Belgium.

Jan strongly believes that a company can only offer an amazing customer experience if it puts the employee experience at the same level. That is why Jan and his teams are building a Great Place to Grow for All, an amazing environment for people to collaborate, learn and grow in. A warm, inspiring and empowering environment that stimulates togetherness, connection, productivity, creativity, self-development, and innovation.

Between 2019 and 2022, AG totally renovated the ground floor of one of its main office buildings in Brussels. In March 2022, the AG Campus was officially inaugurated: a state-of-the-art learning and innovation centre that not only illustrates and supports but also drives the learning culture at AG.

And it hasn’t stopped there: since then, AG has started redesigning all of its office buildings to better reflect when, where and how people work. The ambition of this new multi-year workplace redesign project is to foster connection on office days, to enhance employee well-being and to reduce the company’s environmental footprint.

As Jan puts it: ‘For AG to get the employees it deserves, it must offer them the experience they deserve.’
