Architect-Muurbloem design studio, OCS+
Enginia, a Smart Expert partner of Siemens Digital Industries Software, approached Muurbloem design studio in collaboration with OCS+ to create a dynamic workspace reflecting their core values and fostering innovation. The goal was to build an environment that seamlessly integrates the digital and human aspects, catering to the evolving needs of the Smart Industry and Industry 4.0.
In response to the growing trend of remote work, Enginia sought an office space that encourages teamwork and hybrid meetings. The result? A vibrant, activity-oriented workspace designed to boost creativity and efficiency.
Muurbloem design studio, in collaboration with Enginia, conceptualized a space where data networks come to life. The design features a stunning light fixture symbolizing connectivity, glass wall stickers reflecting Industry 4.0’s ‘digital twin’ theory, and custom-designed upholstery expressing Enginia’s DNA. The rugs, resembling pools of water with reflections, add a touch of nature and humanity to the environment.
In the post-COVID era, the design process involved Enginia employees, ensuring their feedback shaped the workspace. The concept, encapsulated in the motto ‘the future is digital, the future is handmade,’ beautifully integrates Enginia’s focus on the digital world with the human touch.
OCS+ took the reins from concept to completion, expertly overseeing the project’s implementation. Their Realization approach ensured a smooth process, unburdening Enginia and Muurbloem design studio. The result? A workspace that aligns with Enginia’s vision and values, setting the stage for the next 10-15 years.
