Project Spotlight: Beiersdorf Campus by Ippolito Fleitz Group – Identity Architects

Reimagining Work: A Dynamic Campus for a Global Brand

The future of work is flexible, human-centric, and deeply collaborative. At the new Beiersdorf Campus in Hamburg, this vision is brought to life through a thoughtfully choreographed workplace experience designed by Ippolito Fleitz Group – Identity Architects.

Working in close collaboration with Beiersdorf’s team, Ippolito Fleitz Group developed a global workplace strategy rooted in the values of communication, flexibility, and identity. The result is a spatial ecosystem that supports not only how people work, but also how they connect, reflect, and thrive.

A Space for Every Mode of Work

From collaboration hubs to quiet contemplation zones, the new campus spans six floors of purposeful diversity. The design enables a seamless flow between:

  • Focused work and retreat spaces
  • Informal and formal conversations
  • Small workshops and large presentations
  • Spontaneous co-working and individual reflection

The design philosophy ensures that no matter the task, there’s a space built for it—without compromising on comfort or clarity of function.

A Living Expression of Company Values

At the heart of the project is Beiersdorf’s identity, spatially interpreted by Ippolito Fleitz Group. The theme of “care” goes far beyond skincare—it informs a culture of empathy, environmental responsibility, and interpersonal connection.

This is visible right from the entrance level. The Working Café and Campus Restaurant welcome employees with warmth and openness, offering communal spaces that double as extended workplaces.

The Collaboration Hub on the second floor provides dynamic formats for ideation and exchange, while the upper Office levels support a wide range of working styles in agile, reconfigurable settings.

Flexibility at the Forefront

Agility is baked into the building’s DNA. Everything—from curtains and room dividers to ceiling signage and carpet tiles—can be adjusted or reconfigured. Movable partitions, modular furniture, and green dividers allow each area to adapt with minimal effort.

One standout feature is the 140-meter corridor that runs like a “highline” through the building. What would traditionally be a transit zone is now a vibrant meeting space—transforming movement into moments of spontaneous connection.

A Collaborative Vision

This project reflects the power of partnership.
