Nathalie built her career working in Facility management both on the supplier side: at Sodexo, and on the client side, currently at BD – a global MedTech company.

In BD the focus is on fully embracing the hybrid working model, and transforming the office from a working place to a collaboration and meeting space.

The needs of our internal customers have changed, and we need to adjust accordingly. Hybrid work is here to stay – and we need to find the right balance between enabling home working, and bringing people back to the office – ensuring that we don’t erode our culture in the process. Ensuring that our office environment is adding enough value to our associates to offset the burden of the commute is the only way that we can be successful in bringing people to the office. Nathalie believes that finding this balance is the key to success in the War for Talent & talent retention, and Facilities as a function has a crucial role to play in this – thereby increasing visibility of the function within the company.
