Juriaan van Meel
Co-founder Brief Builder & Chair of the board of the Center for People and Buildings
Juriaan van Meel (MSc PhD) is an expert in the field of architectural briefing and workplace design. He has worked on projects across the world and taught at various universities. At the moment, Juriaan spends a lot of his time on BriefBuilder, an online software application for design briefing in construction projects. In addition, he is chairman of the board of the Center for People and Buildings, a research institute at Delft University of Technology that focuses on workplace research. Some of the books that Juriaan (co)authored are: Construction briefing: a practical guide (2023), The Activity-Based Working Practice Guide (2020), Workplaces Today (2015) and Planning Office Spaces (2010).
