Editor in Chief, DesignDigger
Jeroen Junte (1967) is editor-in-chief of the on- and offline platform Designdigger.nl. In Pakhuis de Zwijger in Amsterdam he organizes the quarterly talkshow DesignDigger LIVE. He is freelance journalist, curator and researcher in design and architecture and regular contributor to De Architect and national newspapers de Volkskrant. His most recent book is Do It Ourselves. A New Mentality in Dutch Design (nai/010 publishers) on the post-crisis generation of designers. Jeroen curated several exhibitions, including Slow Tech about the fusion of craft with high-tech production with 3D printers and robots. His most recent exhibition was Luxe? at designmuseum Cube and explores new forms of luxury, such as privacy, leasure and nature. Finally, he teached at institutions such as the Rietveld Academy, the Sandberg Institute and the Design Academy Eindhoven. Jeroen Junte holds a master degree in Contemporary History at Leiden University.
