Rene Karreman

René is an energetic and positive professional with a strong drive for results. With over 30 years of experience in the global construction and real estate market, he has established himself as a global networker and senior project manager. Currently serving as Director of Business Development at Royal HaskoningDHV, he is responsible for managing and developing business for the Corporate Real Estate Market globally.

René’s expertise includes business development, account management, and project management. He has successfully led numerous projects, including the management of the new 65,000m² Booking.com Office in Amsterdam from 2016 to 2023. This project involved advisory support in developer negotiations, developing the building’s Programme of Requirements, and designing the core and shell.  The new headquarters is a state-of-the-art campus, creating a modern workplace that brings together over 7,000 employees under one roof, fostering collaboration and community engagement.

Since 2018 he is also responsible for the Nike account, providing expertise across multiple disciplines to ensure the redevelopment of the campus in Hilversum meets Nike’s demand for a smart, healthy, and sustainable workplace and connects with Nike’s brand values and ambitions. His proactive approach and ability to align communication have made him a trusted partner for Nike, leading to the successful completion of multiple engagement projects on the campus.

His role involves advising clients, creating opportunities, and developing new relationships with both clients and partners. René is passionate about connecting people and sharing knowledge to create effective and sustainable solutions in the Corporate Real Estate market.
