Siegrid Siderius

SiSi lighting design was founded by Siegrid Siderius in March 2019. Siegrid is one of the leading lighting designers in the Netherlands with more than twenty years’ experience in architectural lighting design. From 2006 to early 2019, Siegrid worked for Arup, an independent engineering and consultancy firm as a lighting designer and in various management roles (Associate Director). Siegrid is a professional member of the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD).

Within the wide field of design and architecture Siegrid is specialised in light from daylight to glow in the dark, and public road lighting to interior residential lighting design. Award winning projects Siegrid worked on at Arup include the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam, Stedelijk Museum, Voorlinden Museum, OBA public library, Cityringen Metro in Copenhagen, Arnhem Central Station, Stationsplein Oost bicycle parking Utrecht, Holland Casino Rotterdam. Projects by SiSi, since 2019 include Expo 2020 Dubai pavilion landscape, Gallery Xavier Hufkens, Brussels, Schoenenkwartier Museum Waalwijk and office lighting for Het Binnenhof The Hague.
