Rick Rijkse

Rick Rijkse is Partner and Architect at Fokkema & Partners, where he started his professional career in 2009. He gained his education at the University of Technology in Delft. In 2019 Rick joined the management team. He now runs the Architecture studio together with Diederik Fokkema, Laura Atsma and Marieke van Schaaijk.

Within the studio, Rick has a focus on concept design and brand identity. Projects he worked on vary; from large scale corporate Headquarters to residential. Some examples are EDGE Technologies HQ in Amsterdam, APG EDGE West Amsterdam, Rabobank regional HQ in Rotterdam, Stek Law II in Amsterdam, Private Residence 1901, Lianne Tio Luxury in Rotterdam, Rijnboutt in Amsterdam, CMS law in Amsterdam, HabrakenRutten law in Rotterdam and Deloitte in The EDGE Amsterdam. All in keeping with the user-centric design approach established by the studio with over 25 years of professional experience. Fokkema & Partners oversees architecture, interior design, product design and design management over a wide range of corporate, retail, institutional, hospitality and residential projects.
