Rodi van der Horst
Architect – Interior Architect / Managing Partner, INBO
Rodi leads INBO’s Interior Design team, as well as the Business Development & Communication team.
He holds a Master of Science in both Architecture and Building Technology from Eindhoven University of Technology. In line with his belief that the future of architecture lies in what already exists, he is passionate about transforming existing buildings in close collaboration with their users into future-proof environments. This interest in the adaptive reuse of industrial buildings began during his studies at Politecnico di Torino, where he researched the former Lingotto factory.
Rodi and his team work at the intersection of architecture and interior design, creating meaningful environments driven by user experience. His approach centers on people, innovation, and transformation. Together with clients and suppliers, he seeks out the most circular and sustainable solutions in materials and products.
As an expert in innovative and sustainable workplace concepts, Rodi takes on the role of director when identifying client and user needs. Through conversations and workshops, he uncovers the deeper layers of organizations, enabling him to develop designs that respond to complex questions and remain adaptable to future changes.
Rodi works with major office users, tech companies, educational institutions, governmental bodies, and other public sector clients.
