Lianne Bongers

Lianne Bongers is the founder of the Biophilic Design Academy and a passionate advocate for reconnecting people with nature through design. With a background in interior design and a deep-rooted belief in the healing power of nature, she helps architects, designers, and organizations integrate biophilic principles into their projects and buildings.

Lianne combines over 25 years of experience with a mission: to create spaces that are not only aesthetically beautiful, but also scientifically proven to boost well-being, creativity, and health. Through the Biophilic Academy, she empowers professionals to bring nature back into everyday life — one design at a time.

With het company Studio Lime she was a finalist at the 2023 European Stephen Kellert Biophilic Design Awards with her project CoffeeLab Breda.
